Donations will be utilized to provide behavioral health services, including substance use disorder services, to clients in our various residential housing programs. A high percentage of the homeless individuals we serve in our housing programs are dealing with a mental health or co-occurring substance use disorder issue. In recent years state funding for behavioral health services has significantly declined. Typically, the State of Idaho ranks in the bottom five states in the country as it relates to funding for behavioral health services. Available services, on a relatively limited basis, exist for individuals who are covered by Medicaid; however, very little to nothing exist for those not covered by Medicaid. As CLUB, Inc., also provides behavioral health services, with donated funds, we can connect many of our housing clients to behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling.
